Mrs. Womack feted on 81st birthday
Mrs. Layton Womack of Lillington was honored with a surprise birthday party on her 81st birthday, Jan 7, at her home.
Two of her granddaughters, Phyllis Pokemire and Teresa Donaldson were responsible for the party which had about 25 guests in attendance.
Refreshments consisted of cake, punch, potato chips, mints and coffee.
Mrs. Womack was presented a special gift of a mother's ring by her 10 children. She has 30 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild
