J. H. Lawrence was administrator. Security on the admin. bond were W. A. Lawrence & H. L. Buchanan. The widow was named as Mary G. Lawrence . Heirs (children) were: Adaline Buccanon, wife of Hillyard (Buchanan), Eliz. Ragland, wife of W. A.Ragland, W. A. Lawrence , Sarah Upchu(r)ch, Isaac G. Lawrence , Hetty Lawrence (a minor), and J. H. Lawrence (the admin.).
There was a will for Mrs. Mary G. Lawrence , written 23 Jan 1880 and probated 2 Sep 1893. Youngest son Isaac G. Lawrence was to be executor and to get all the land Mary lived on. Residue of estate was to be divided equally between children. The application for letters testamentary listed the parties entitled to property as: Isaac G. Lawrence , W. A. Lawrence , Sarah A. Bobhill, J. H. Lawrence , Emma A. Buchanan, Eliz. D. Ragland, He(dana?) M. Holland.
