  [Obituary] Edna Matthews Baker, 83, of Fuquay-Varina died Sunday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Baker, in 1996. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Baptist Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Survivors include a daughter, Anne Harrington and husband Bobby of Fuquay-Varina; sons, Ronnie Baker and wife Janie of Fuquay-Varina, and Larry Baker of Fuquay-Varina; sisters, Pearl Ivey of Fuquay-Varina, Maggie Morgan of Apex; a brother, Woodrow Matthews of Buies Creek; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Thomas Funeral Home and other times at the home of Bobby and Anne Harrington, 302 Church St., Fuquay-Varina.
