  [Carolina Observer] March 1, 1827 DIED, In this County, a few days ago, Mrs. Margaret Murphey, wife of Mr. Thomas Murphey, aged 85 years, leaving seven children, residents of the County, to bewail her loss. Mrs. Murphey was a native of Argyleshire, Scotland, but for more than 55 years a resident of this country. She was a pious member of the Presbyterian Church, - as she lived, so she died, a Christian, full with hope of a blessed immortality.
