Blannie W. Baker
Died: 01-29-2001 Blannie Wood Baker, 76, of Holly Springs died Monday evening at Wake Medical Center following a brief period of hospitalization.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 P.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church, Holly Springs. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Charlie W. Baker; sons, Stoney W. Baker Sr. and Cecil R. Baker, both of Holly Springs, W. Henry Baker of Fuquay-Varina, Terry D. Baker of Efland and J. Louie Baker of Willow Spring; a daughter, Ruth B. Foster of Raleigh; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Baker and Margaret Wood, both of Holly Springs; and a brother, Ernest Wood of Fuquay-Varina.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Sugg Funeral Home in Fuquay-Varina.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church Building Fund.
