Catherine Williams was married to K. M. Murchison in Cumberland County, North Carolina on the 26th day of November 1855 according to Hunting for Bears Genealogy Society.
The following article was published in the August 6th 1909 edition of the Wilmington Star. - The following from yesterday's Atlanta Constitution will be read with interest and regret: "Friends in Atlanta of
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ellis will regret to learn of the illness of Mrs. Ellis' mother, Mrs. Murchison. The entire family, including Mrs. Murchison's daughters, Mrs. Sprunt, of Wilmington; Mrs. Carter, of Baltimore, Mrs.
Hurcamp, of Virginia, and her son, Mr. Kenneth Murchison, are at Narrgansett Pier with their mother."
According to Oakdale Cemetery records Mrs. Catherine Murchison, 75 years old, married, died 1-18-1912. Born in Cumberland County, N. C. and died in Wilmington, N. C. Interment in section K., Lot No. 109 owned by K. M. Murchison.
