The following article was published in the March 8th 1873 edition of the Wilmington Messenger. - John R., eldest son of Col. and Mrs K. M. Murchison died in Brooklyn New York on the 5th inst., of scarlet fever, at
age 7.
Oakdale cemetery records indicate the following. - Removal of two sons of Colonel Murchison from New York City on 12-18-1898. Interment in section K., Lot No. 149, owned by K. M. Murchison
