HETTIE W. HAMILTON
LILLINGTON -- Hettie W. Hamilton, 90, of Lillington died Thursday
(1/6/00) at Harnett Mano r Nursing Home.
A native of Granville County, she was the oldest member of Lil lington
Baptist Church at the time of her death. She was also a member of th e
order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.
Linwood Hamilton.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lillington Baptis t Church by
the Rev. Mark Morris. Burial will follow in Westview Gardens.
S urviving are a daughter, Jean H. Ballard of Lillington; sons, John Pat
Hamilt on of Lillington and Milton E. "Bo" Hamilton of Florida; sisters,
Ruth Mae Pr uitt and Fannie Belle Spainhour, both of Fuquay-Varina; five
grandchildren an d five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. t oday at O'Quinn-Peebles
Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Jean B allard.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Lillington Baptist Church, P. O. Box
670, Lillington, N.C. 27546.
