  [Murchison Tree] According to notes from Patricia London, Hill Murchison broke his back, falling from a structure at a CCC camp about 1935. John went to live with a relative, Lib went to live with Pauline McKay's parents (John and Elizabeth). Hill Jr. went to live with Elizabeth and Broadus Hayes, and Kathryn stayed at home to take care of her father. Hill was a fox hunter and breeder of fine walker hounds. He was also quite good in his business dealings both with dogs and his farm.
