Roger H. Thomas
Roger H. Thomas, 70, of Lillington, a native of Harnett County, died Nov. 27 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Dorothy "Dot" McDonald Thomas. He retired as general manager of Coats Distributors Inc. in 1987 after 35 years of service. He was honored as a deacon emeritus in October for his years of service to his church, Antioch Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Nov. 30 at Antioch Baptist Church in Mamers by the Rev. Martin Groover. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Lisa T. Spainhour of Virginia, Myra T. Cole of Sanford, and Gina T. Williams and Marcia T. Dickens, both of Lillington; a sister, Mayo T. Collins of Lillington; and eight grandchildren, Matthew Spainhour, Benjamin Spainhour, Nathaniel Spainhour, Zachary Spainhour, Leslie Williams, Garrett Williams, Cameron Cole and Meredith Dickens.

Roger H. Thomas
Roger H. Thomas, 70, of Lillington, a native of Harnett County, died Nov. 27 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Dorothy "Dot" McDonald Thomas.
