" Lawrence ,John, (widow)Angelina Mary, W5020, North Carolina Line, soldier was b. in 12 May 1761 in Granville County North Carolina & he lived there at enlistment & after the Rev. he moved to Virginia for 1 yr then returned to Granville County North Carolina for 6 or 7 yrs then moved to Wake County North Carolina & in 1816 he moved to Chatham County North Carolina & he applied there in Nov 1832, widow applied 8 Apr 1841 Chatham County North Carolina aged 75 on 20 Mar 1841, soldier & widow had Maryland. 3 Feb 1786 in Granville County North Carolina & soldier died 25 Oct 1834, children were; Henry b 20 Dec 1786, Avereler b 3 Mar 1789, Elizabeth b 26 Feb 1791, Lucy b 17 May 1792, John b 20 Feb 1796, William b 26 Apr 1799, Thompson b 15 Nov 1801 & THEOPHILUS b 12 Apr 1806, the daughter Lucy made affidavit in Chatham County North Carolina on 8 May 1841."
