  [Obituary] Vera Baker Ashworth, 78, of Fuquay-Varina died Friday. Funeral services were held this morning at 11 A.M. at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel. Survivors include daughters, Lois Forbes of Fuquay-Varina, Dean Horton of Garner; a son, James Ashworth of Duncan; sisters, Lessie Mae Johnson and Dorothy Horton, both of Angier, Phyllis Moore of Sanford and Lillian Sexton of Mamers; a brother, Rudolph Baker of Fuquay-Varina; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
