I was reading where it lists that my aunt Flarria Melvin Salmon married James Marshall Ballard which is correct, however his Father was not Frank Alexander Ballard and mother Sarah Elizabeth Salmon but John N. Ballard, wife Mattie Jane McDonald. I have a book of Highland Scots Pattersons of North Carolina and Related Families published in 1979 by Admiral Alex M. Patterson. In this book it lists the Descendants of many families in this area. It lists the John N. Ballard genealogy with children etc. One of John N. Ballard's daughters is a member of our Church. Her name is Lucy Ballard and her parents were Charter members of Ephesus Presbyterian Church which I am a member. ..."[Gregory Family Tree 2.FTW]
