      Obituary: "Pete" Marler, 67, formerly of Raleigh and Four Oaks, died Tuesday morning in Ft. Myers. She was born in Johnston County, the daughter of the late Julius Baker and Myrtle Barbour Baker.
      She was the widow of Ernest Ryan and Luther Marler.
      Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Friday, June 11, 1999 at Strickland Funeral Home, Wendell. Burial, Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks.
      Surviving son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Frances Marler of Punta Gorda, Fla.; sisters, Judie Hill
      Smith of Selma and Wanda Gail Allen Lee of Four Oaks; brothers, Charles Baker of Wendell, Donald
      Baker of Junction City, Kansas and Wayne Hill of Clayton; granddaughters, Christina Marler and Michelle Beasley; great-grandson, Jonathan Marler.
      The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 P.M. today at Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St.,
      Wendell; other times at the home of Charles and Alice Baker, 10901 Poole Rd., Wendell.
