Sanford--James Horace Wester, 83, of 615 McLeod Drive died Friday (9/3/99) at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Monday in the chapel at First Baptist Church by the Rev. Eric Porterfield. Burial will follow at Lee Memory Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Taylor Wester; sons, Kenneth Gwyn Wester of Lillington and Randy Wester of Garner; daughters, Marie Harrington of Lillington and Trudy Wester of Greensboro; a brother, A. R. "Turk" Wester of Sanford; sisters, Doris Starling of Sanford and Charlotte Newton of Lillington; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 P.M. today at Rogers-Pickard Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to Duke and St. Joseph Home Care and Hospice, P. O. Box 99, Sanford, NC 27331; or the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 202 Summitt Drive, Sanford, NC 27330. Lee Memory Gardens, Sanford, NC.
