I found one source that states that Thomas was married only once to Sarah Isabelle____. in the 1880 census he is listed with Sarah J. and three children William N. age 7; Easter E. age 5 and Charles age 2.
On the marriage license of William Nathan Dean dated 1897, it states his mother was dead.
In the 1900 census Thomas is listed with Isabella age 49 also listed are Charlie age 22; Amanda age 20; Pattie age 19; C. Marshall age 14; Frank age 7; and Ellen age 25 . This census states Thomas and Isabella were married for 15 years.
The 1910 census states Thomas and Isabella had been married 25 years. Also this is a second marriage for Thomas and the first for Isabella.
