Hi Bob,
Forgot about the James Persey information. Many people get his name from the
tombstone. At that time the "s" was made long sort of like an "f" and many
people in their effort to translate it get it wrong. I have even seen it as
James Perkey and James Perfey Salmon. It is Persey though. By the way he
was called Jimmy. James and Nancy were my Mother's Grandparents and she
still remembers her Grandmother Nancy and when she died.
