[Nola Pegram Duffy]
1790
William Pegram appears on the tax rolls of Warren Co., NC. Since all the other Pegrams of
Warren Co. are accounted for through the Will of Daniel Pegram, the ONLY father of William who is known to be alive at that time is indeed this John Pegram and he would be the right age. Wm. did have children on the 1790 census and later court records do reflect a Peter in Warren Co. who apparently died without issue since there are no Pegrams in the country that we can not otherwise account for.
I do want you to know that there is NO question that we are all descendants of George Pegram of Virginia.
William married Agnes Rhodes on 29 Jan 1779 in Lunenburg Co., Virginia. Agnes was born about 1759 in York Co., Virginia; died before 1808. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
